Like older people, senior pets may also suffer from incontinence.
So it's not surprising that such pet incontinence products as doggie diapers, homeopathic and holistic remedies including supplements and herbal tonics, specialty pet beds, urine cleaning products and other related items are in demand.
Of course, pet parents should first consult with their veterinarians to determine the cause of the condition and most appropriate course of treatment.
(The good news is, this is a highly treatable condition, depending on the cause.)
Otherwise, pet retailers are well-advised to carry these and other products related to the older pet population, a growing but underserved market.
