As anyone who frequents this site knows, I am a big supporter of natural and environmentally friendly pet products, foods and lifestyles.
Meanwhile, many eco-conscious pet shops are going green in other ways. For example, an increasing number are providing good, old-fashioned brown paper as opposed to plastic bags for customer purchases.
Another good idea is for pet shops to offer reusable shopping totes emblazoned with their stores' names and/or logos for sale to their customers.
Not only is this a very environmentally friendly concept, this is a good way to diversify your business, while at the same time promoting your store.
Either way, I applaud pet shops who are taking this environmentally friendly step.
